WASHINGTON — The CIA is opening a counterproliferation center to combat the spread of dangerous weapons and technology, a move that comes as Iran is on the verge of fueling up a new nuclear power plant…In this image provided on Aug. 18, 2010, by GeoEye Satellite Image, this half-meter resolution satellite image of the Bushehr Reactor in Iran was collected by the GeoEye-1 satellite on Feb. 18, 2010. The reactor complex occupies a 2.5-square-kilometer site area, which includes assembly halls, a concrete channel for cooling water that runs from the reactors to the Gulf, and the harbor which supports loading and unloading of foreign materials needed for construction and reactor operation.
